A March through History

The March for Charity team having completed the Adidas Half-Marathon on 14 March 2010 at Silverstone in full ACW kit including back packs, guns and authentic footwear are now planning our next endeavour. This time the plan is to have a team of reenactors take part in all of the arena battles and military demonstrations at the "Blasts from the Past" multi period re-enacting event at Broadlands in August 2011.
The March for Charity team will have to change quickly between each battle or demo in to whatever period kit is appropriate and be ready to fight another battle within minutes of having completed the previous one. This may not sound that hard but as the event starts at 11am and ends at 5pm with battles and demos going on virtually continuously this will be no easy task.

For more information on this challenge and the half Marathon follow the options in the menu above.

For more information on the Blasts from the Past multi period re-enactment event visit the eventplan web site.

The March for Charity team has a Justgiving web page to collect credit/debit card donations. So please sponsor us now but clicking the "Sponsor me" button in the justgiving badge. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us as the Army Benevolent Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Alternatively you can donate by cheque. Simply print and complete the form below and send it with your cheque to the address on the form.
